The best tacos and micheladas mix! Definitely 10/10 I tried the torta Cubana and it was delicious! Great customer service! They always have my food ready when I order over the phone as well! recommended!

I went here randomly because I was hungry and didn’t want to drive too far from where I was at. Was not recommended to me. But I have to say. I was amazed by not only the customer service. But the food!!! The gorditas de barbacoa are to die for. The tacos are on point. I was starving mind you. I didn’t eat breakfast. But this place was great. Atmosphere wasn’t a full 5 but it’s because they do have bars on their windows and stuff, doesnt look inviting. But I understand some business need it. Nonetheless the service and the food was on point. The tacos were nice and juicy, the Gordita made me drool a bit because it was packed with a lot of flavor. I recommend this place. I hope you like it as much as I did.

Wait was not long. Tacos were very good overall. Barabacoa was delicious and not fatty. Tried the fajita and chicken which were also good. Sauces had a great bite to them. Good prices and staff was friendly.

Great local taco spot. We just had basic tacos but they were great. The employees were friendly. Apparently the menudo is very popular. We'll try that next time.

I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Ive tried countless birria quesitacos all over Houston and this place is undefeated. The quality of the meat, the portion size, price, and the consome (every other place always flops this) is amazing. For some reason it doesn't pop up on the menu but just order the platter at the counter!! Sometimes the wait can be long but so worth it and the tacos are good here too. Spent about 20/25 total for 2 ppl

Food is great love the homemade corn/maza tortillas. It’s hard to find a place with great tacos and great salsa all in one. My only complaint is the smell, you walk in there and the smell of smoke from an after hours bar hits you. Not sure if it’s from them or maybe one next door. But definitely needs to be made aware.

Discovering Gorditas and La Bala Tacos was like finding a hidden culinary gem! I recently had the pleasure of trying their street tacos and quesadillas, both made with beef fajita, and I was blown away. The beef fajita was exceptionally tender, elevating the street tacos to a whole new level. They were generously topped with fresh cilantro, onions, a dollop of sour cream, and slices of avocado – a delightful mix of flavors and textures. The quesadilla, on the other hand, was a hearty portion, filled with the same delicious beef fajita. It was perfectly cooked, with a balance of cheese and meat that was just right. Each bite was a delightful experience, making it one of the best quesadillas I've had in ages. While this was a to-go order, so I can't comment on the atmosphere or service, the quality of the food alone has left a lasting impression. It's rare to find Mexican cuisine this authentic and flavorful. Gorditas and La Bala Tacos has set a new standard for me, and I can confidently say it's some of the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time. Can't wait to visit again and explore more of their menu!

The street tacos were awesome, on my last one . The rice had great flavor . The beans were a disappointment as they had not flavor and were soupy . The Cameron caldo was good as well . Tortillas were a bit tasting like dough . The price for everything was a bit steep. But overall I’d recommend it ! Music was way too loud .
